What if a suspicious spot or mole is found during mole mapping?
Explore more FAQsYour skin doctor will closely examine any moles or other skin changes detected during mole mapping. If suspicious lesions are detected, we can take a biopsy or perform an excision at our clinic, often on the same day.
Reduce your skin cancer risk
Because mole mapping is normally performed in conjunction with a skin check performed by a doctor, we can diagnose your spots.
We can manage suspicious moles or spots and skin cancers during or soon after your mole mapping appointment at Spot Check Clinic. If your suspicious spot urgently requires a longer procedure, we can usually schedule it within the week.
