At Spot Check Clinic, we use the Fotona StarWalker Nd:YAG laser, with treatment modes selected for your skin and the condition being treated. Treatments are performed by doctors and nurses trained and certified in laser treatment and safety.

What can laser treatment be used for?

Suitability and treatment settings depend on the diagnosis, treatment area and skin type.

Laser and BBL

Laser and BBL use different forms of light. Both have roles in treating pigmentation, redness and visible vessels, and may be used together. Types of laser treatment

Side effects and downtime

Recovery depends on the treatment and its intensity. Temporary effects may include redness, irritation, bruising or pinpoint bleeding. Your clinician will explain the expected downtime and risks before treatment and provide aftercare instructions.

How to prepare

Follow our preparation instructions before your appointment. Treatment may need to be deferred if your skin is not suitably prepared.
