Our clinical team members have qualifications, training and a broad range of experience managing aesthetic and dermatological conditions.

Your 15-minute aesthetic consultation includes a discussion of your aesthetic concerns, examining your skin condition and discussing a management plan. Your consultation may include clinical photography and dermoscopic examination of skin lesions.

By the end of your consultation, you should understand:

  • The most likely or possible diagnoses of your skin concern
  • Skin care recommendations
  • Possible ways of managing your aesthetic concerns.

How to prepare

Booked an aesthetic consult? Here’s what to do next.

Your aesthetic consultation - how to prepare
Complete our medical history form

If you haven’t visited us before, complete the medical history form at least 24 hours before your appointment to give us adequate time to create your records and consider safe and appropriate management options.

Prepare your skin

We need to have the best possible visibility for examining and photographing your skin.

  • Please don’t wear make-up or fake tan.
  • Make sure your skin is clean.

If you are consulting us about a nail fungal infection, it’s best if you haven’t cut your nails for a few weeks, as we may need to clip 1-2mm of your nail.

Information to bring

If you’ve had your skin condition assessed previously, bring a copy of any biopsy or swab results, plus a list of any medications (topical or oral) and skin care products you’ve tried.

If you’ve had laser or IPL treatments, try to bring details of the exact treatments you’ve had and the settings that were used.
