What happens at the assessment?

Your doctor reviews your medical and skin history, examines your concern and discusses suitable treatment options, including the procedure, healing and scarring. They will also explain whether laboratory testing of removed tissue is needed.

If another approach or referral would be more suitable, your doctor will discuss this with you.

If you are concerned about possible skin cancer, book a full body skin check or 1–3 spot check.

Booking your procedure

If surgery is recommended, it is usually booked as a separate appointment. Your doctor will discuss fees and timing with you.

Fees

A consultation fee applies. Procedure costs depend on the condition, complexity and treatment required.
