Dr Sahar has worked exclusively in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment since 2016, with advanced training in skin cancer medicine and over a decade of broader clinical experience.
In addition to comprehensive skin cancer checks, Dr Sahar regularly undertakes biopsies and excisions, and performs reconstructive procedures such as flaps and grafts where clinically appropriate. This allows diagnosis and treatment to be managed within the clinic when suitable, supporting continuity of care.
She undertakes ongoing professional development in skin cancer medicine to maintain current knowledge of diagnostic standards, procedural techniques and evolving clinical guidelines.
Dr Sahar began her medical career as a General Practitioner in 2012. She later completed a Master of Medicine in Skin Cancer to further develop focused expertise in this field.
She practises as a primary care doctor with a focused interest in skin cancer medicine. She is not a dermatologist.

Dr Chris Miller
Dr Chris Miller is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor in Melbourne CBD with advanced training in skin cancer detection, dermoscopy and surgical management. He performs full body skin checks, mole mapping and skin cancer procedures daily, with a particular interest in non-surgical skin cancer treatments and evidence-based sun-damage management.
Dr Kevin Sandhu
Dr Kevin Sandhu is a GP with advanced training in skin cancer medicine and a background in surgical training across general, vascular and plastic surgery. He performs skin cancer checks, biopsies, excisions and other surgical skin procedures at Spot Check Clinic.
Dr Meetali Kanagasundaram
Dr Meetali Kanagasundaram is a vocationally registered GP with a Diploma of Dermatology and additional training in skin cancer medicine. She performs skin cancer assessments, mole checks and in-clinic procedures at Spot Check Clinic.
